Homesteaders has implemented emergency relief measures for policy owners as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. We hope this effort will ease some of the burden associated with these unprecedented circumstances.
Effective until June 1, 2020, or the date through which relief is granted in your area (whichever is later), Homesteaders is extending the normal 30-day premium grace period contained in our policies as follows: Any Homesteaders policy that might otherwise lapse during this period due to non-payment of premium will remain in full force and effect.
The following are currently under extended relief orders: Arkansas, California, Delaware, Hawaii, Louisiana, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon and Washington DC.
If you are a policy owner residing in one of the above locations and have been financially impacted as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, please contact our office to learn more about the premium relief requested by your state or city.
